As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, automating our deployment pipelines, and ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of our systems. You’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to design innovative solutions, introduce relevant new DevOps technology, and influence key infrastructure decisions. What You’ll Do:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Manage and scale GCP cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
- CI/CD: Design, implement, and maintain efficient GitHub Actions pipelines for automated deployments and testing.
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Ensure high availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of cloud resources.
- Monitoring & Logging: Set up and manage monitoring tools such as Sentry, Prometheus, and Grafana for system health and security.
- Automation: Drive continuous improvement in automation and infrastructure efficiency.
- Security & Best Practices: Implement security measures for cloud environments and ensure compliance.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineering and product teams for seamless development and infrastructure alignment.
- DevOps Innovation: Introduce and evaluate new DevOps tools and technologies.
- Private Cloud Integration: Ensure smooth and secure integration with customer-hosted private clouds.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role
- Hands-on experience with GCP and Terraform for infrastructure management
- Strong knowledge of Docker containerization and networking
- Experience with CI/CD tools and data pipelines
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, high availability, and system reliability
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Sentry, Prometheus, or Grafana
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A team player who brings positivity, curiosity, and drive
Bonus Points For:
- Proven experience as a Python developer in production
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Familiarity with data warehouses and analytics tools like Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau
- Experience with AWS as a strong bonus
- Cloud, cyber, or security certifications (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure certifications)
- Experience with Kubernetes and ELK stack
- A relevant academic background such as Computer Science or Engineering
